From placing an over the phone order, to the atmosphere when I got there, to the price and to the actual taste of the food I gotta give this a 1.5Ordering over the phone: I understand there’s a language barrier but the lady who took the order was very soft spoken i could barely here her and once I managed to get my order in she just hung up on me. There was no eta and didn’t tell me how muchAtmosphere: the floors looked dirty and it smelled as if they’d spilled fish sauceCost: 18 dollars for egg rolls, and a pork, 1 egg and rice combo is crazy, but it is what it isTaste: literally everything was over cooked. I only ate it because the meal was 18 dollars, definitely the last time i’d go to that placeI’m not the type to bash restaurant, even if it were mediocre i wouldn’t have said anything, but damn there was no effort into this at all

I got the largest size of Bun Bo Huế and I couldn’t finish it. Plenty of noodles and toppings. Definitely a must try when you visit Houston. The soup was very flavorful, you can actually see the spices on the top layer of the soup, when they bring it out.

Very spacious and relatively clean. Shared a Bum Bo Hue with a friend. Soup was savory with thick noodles and fresh meat. Spring rolls were delicious and had good form.Thai tea was okay. Had too much ice, tapioca was a bit undercooked in some of them, and clumped together. Not a bad place overall, but could do better on the tea.

This was my first experience with Bun Bo Hue and I knew I was in for a great one upon walking in. A true Asian family restaurant starter pack which hits all the marks of service and delicious food. The titular dish is absolutely wonderful and the beef and pork knuckles are cooked very well. The large bowl is definitely recommended.

This restaurant definitely lives up to its name! The broth is so good! If I don’t have to add fish sauce, to me, that means it’s really really good! I also love when the veggies come with the sliced banana leaf and cabbage vs lettuce. These are a must have for me. All their drinks are super tasty as well. And they are super fast! I wish the appetizers comes out before the main course. I don’t know why a lot of Asian restaurants do this, but they like to bring out the apps and main courses out at the same time, lol. But all in all the food was great. Friendly staff. If you’re looking to get a quick bun bo hue fix, definitely come here!
