I tried this place with my parents. Although the food is good, it can be difficult to order. We ordered the roast beef banh mi which is delicious. We also ordered the roast pork banh mi which is also good. The only problem was we ordered several sandwiches and most were to be roast beef. When we spoke to the staff, we were told that the roast pork was roast beef. Since my father and I ate our roast beef sandwiches there, and the remaining sandwiches were to go, it was easy to tell the difference. The staff was friendly, but they were not willing to fix the mistake.
Great food. I loved the Bo Ne. Portions were huge and I loved the pate. The bun bo hue was also great. The place was very understaffed but our waitress did her best and gave great service. There were no napkins at the table. The cups, bowls and utensils were not properly cleaned and were slightly dirty. Food was cheap and delicious. Just wipe down the utensil before you eat lol
Absolutely delicious and bang for your buck!Came here after a six hour tattoo session, so I was hungry!Got the Bo Ne (Baguette with Steak, eggs, Chinese sausages, and vegetables). It absolutely did not disappoint! All that food (pictured below) for $17 (after tax). Absolutely worth it and bang for your buck. Friendly and prompt service, and calm vibe for a relaxing meal. The family sitting next to me ordered pho, and that looked super delicious as well. This place is an absolute must for Vietnamese food enthusiasts!
Bánh mì heo quay (Roasted Pork Sandwich) was a great hit. Unique, flavorful & crunchy! Bò Né (Beef Steak Cubes & Eggs), Pho & Bun Bo Hue were very average. We’ve had them better at other places for either slightly cheaper price or more generous portions. They’ve currently stopped serving rice plates & other special dishes. They only accept orders for Banh Mi, Pho & Bun Bo Hue at the moment.Service was quite unpleasant. The server who took our order had an attitude with everyone and raised his voice at the coworker when he asked him something.
The place was packed for lunch on Sunday! We initially came in for their hot stone pot pho. The broth was tasty and I loved how the stone pot kept it hot the entire time. I ordered the banh mi Bo ne as well and I would definitely pass on this one. It’s supposed to be steak cubes but it looked like they just used the rare steak for pho lol. Flavors weren’t anything to boast about either. The plain banh mi was perfectly crispy and fluffy. I’ll come back for the pho and to try the banh mi****I came back for the banh mi and I can say the banh mi is worth coming back. Combination is okay but the heo quay is really good! I recommend the thit nuong as well
