Soup is bland, portion is very frugal, few pieces of what looked like scrap and fatty meat, a tiny little cube of pig blood. Veggie plate served was all browned and days old veggies. To top that server was rude, dropped off food without soup spoons and when we asked for some she gave us attitude. Didn’t come back to check on us and anytime we asked for anything extra she glared at us. Tried to upsell us their specialty drinks, refresher and coffee and when we denied she got upset and stormed off. Atmosphere feels really dirty and bathroom was as well. We really wanted to love this place since our family loves BBH, unfortunately wouldn’t recommend at all.
Came here to “fight heat with heat,” as they give a portion of Bún Bò Huế that comes with plenty of broth. The broth is good as is, but there is chili oil and shrimp paste at the tables for additional seasoning. Just the right amount of meat and noodles for myself as a medium portion eater.
First time going to a restaurant that serves only bun bo hue and it was delicious. Broth was flavorful and not too salty. Service was prompt and food came out quick. For a place that serves only one dish, they were steady with people and I can tell why! I'll probably try their other locations next to see how they compare.
This place is a solid choice for Bun Bo Hue. The broth is so thick and flavorful. Meat so tenders and the veggies dish so fresh. It’s a small restaurant with very limited seats, but their quick and attentive service keeps inviting me back. The owner Kim is also so sweet too.
My friend took me there for the first time during time. The restaurant only serve 1 item on the menu call Bun Bo Hue. It is consist of noodle, pork, pork leg, pork jello blood (optional), and vegetable. Is different but I like the taste of the broth. I would definitely try again and recommended if you wants to try something different from the traditional Asian food.
